The rift between Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan and his former manager, Vipin Kumar , has escalated into a full-blown controversy, with both parties taking legal action and making serious allegations against each other.

Vipin also addressed circulating rumors that there’s no evidence of the alleged assault, clarifying that the police are aware of CCTV footage from the incident. He plans to present further details at a meeting convened by the major film bodies on Monday.
Unni Mukundan claims threats to life and careerIn a parallel development, Unni Mukundan has lodged formal complaints with Kerala’s Director General of Police (DGP) and Additional DGP, citing death threats and conspiracies against him. According to Manorama News, the actor revealed that two weeks ago, he received a warning call advising him to stay alert, especially concerning Vipin. He also mentioned that the warning included a heads-up that women might file false complaints against him. Concerned for his safety and reputation, Unni Mukundan has sought police protection. Taking to social media, the actor assured his fans that he is committed to the legal process, stating, “At the end of this journey, the truth will prevail.”
AMMA and FEFKA step in to mediate the disputeWith tensions rising, AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) and FEFKA (Film Employees Federation of Kerala), have stepped in to mediate. Both groups are set to hold talks with Vipin and Unni Mukundan to de-escalate the matter and seek a possible resolution.
