The bus, which was traveling from Badalpur to Jaunpur, apparently lost control, collided with a road barrier, and flipped close to the Buksa police station area.

Some passengers were stuck inside the bus, while others were thrown out of the vehicle by the force of the collision.

As soon as word got out, emergency personnel hurried to the scene, according to Superintendent of Police Dr. Kaustubh.

“The police quickly arrived at the scene of the collision and started rescue efforts. For treatment, the wounded were sent right away to the District Hospital and Primary Health Center,” he stated.

Witnesses said that the bus was moving at a high speed of around 80 km/h when the driver reportedly lost control.

In the middle of the road, the bus abruptly veered, struck the divider, and flipped. A nearby citizen who assisted with the rescue attempts said, “Some passengers smashed the windows to escape, while others remained stuck inside.”

Locals from the surrounding communities hurried to the site after hearing the pleas for assistance and helped free the imprisoned passengers.

Those trapped under and inside the bus were eventually rescued after a great deal of work. After the bus was relocated to the side of the road, regular traffic flowed again.

Police have detained the bus and begun an investigation to ascertain the precise reason of the collision, including whether it resulted from driver error, technical failure, or speeding.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, acknowledged the disaster and offered his sympathies to the families of the deceased.

CM Yogi wished the wounded a quick recovery and instructed the district administration to make sure they received the right medical attention.
