Although racing with Honda, Aleix Espargaró had plenty of praise for Aprilia's package at Silverstone, saying the bike could have taken the win.

‘Yes, 100%. I know because Aprilia has worked very good since 2022 here. Always I always been very close to to win. I just won one, but I did two or three pole position, and the bike has been always fantastic.’

He even discussed the bike's feel with Marco Bezzecchi. ‘Yesterday [Saturday], I congratulate Marco Bezzecchi and he told to me, that the bike here is amazing to ride, it’s super fun, super fast.’

For Aleix, Bezzecchi had a real shot at the win: ‘So, yeah, today [Sunday] he had his chance. Unfortunately, race was for, Fabio Quartararo, but, this is part of racing.’

Still, he made his feelings clear: ‘So very happy for Aprilia. Really, really happy.’
