Cometh the hour, cometh the man they say and Rohit Sharma is showing exactly why he is the big player that he is rightfully regarded as. As the name suggests, IPL's Eliminator is a do-or-die contest where you get no second chance and even though Rohit Sharma has got a couple of reprieves from the GT fielders, Rohit Sharma has brought his A-game into the play and making Gujarat Titans pay.
Rohit Sharma started on 6957 IPL runs and by the time he got to his 47th IPL half-century off just 28 balls, he had become only the second batter ever to cross 7000 runs in IPL. Rohit made 1170 runs in three seasons for Deccan Chargers from 2008-10 and made the move to Mumbai Indians back in 2011 and has since been a key figure in the franchise specially after leading them to their first title in 2013.
