Just 24 hours before the Champions League Final, reports continue to emerge that Simone Inzaghi is heading for Al-Hilal, despite his comments on wanting to remain at Inter.
The showdown with Paris Saint-Germain kicks off in Munich on Saturday May 31 at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT, 21.00 CET).
The build-up ought to be focused on the possibility of the Nerazzurri winning the trophy, having come so close in 2023 against Manchester City.
Instead, Footmercato claim that Inzaghi has already given his word to sign for Al-Hilal at the end of this season, in an agreement that would be worth €30m in wages per year.
Inzaghi keeps Inter and Al-Hilal waiting
While there continue to be rumours that the situation is in flux, the coach tried to reassure fans when speaking to Sky Sport Italia this afternoon.
“I already said many times that I am happy at this club, so I have everything I want to do well and keep achieving satisfaction here.”

Inzaghi also commented on the numerous questions about his future in the press conference.
“Look, there is a Champions League Final tomorrow. From Monday, we will meet up and calmly talk over what is best for Inter,” insisted the coach.
Since taking the job in 2021, Inzaghi has won one Serie A title, two editions of the Coppa Italia, three Italian Super cups and reached two Champions League Finals.
