Sky Sport Italia claim that Juventus are considering Fulham manager Marco Silva to be their new coach after missing out on top targets.

The Bianconeri sacked Thiago Motta in March and are not sure they want to continue with Igor Tudor beyond the Club World Cup either.

They had been counting on the return of Antonio Conte, who instead decided to remain with Napoli for next season after winning the Scudetto.

Gian Piero Gasperini was another candidate, but he has agreed a three-year deal with Roma instead.

Silva a surprising option for Juventus

Now Sky Sport Italia report that Juventus have turned towards Marco Silva, who steered Fulham to 11th place in the Premier League this term.

His previous clubs include Sporting CP, Olympiacos, Hull City, Watford and Everton, but he joined Fulham in the summer of 2021.

The Portuguese tactician will turn 48 in July and his contract with Fulham runs to June 2026.

This is likely to be a choice that does not impress the Juventus fans, especially after seeing other options fall by the wayside.
