A fast automobile transporting wedding guests lost control and overturned at Bhuppa Purva bend in the Majhila police station area.

Officials said the victims were part of a wedding procession that went from Patiyani village, which is under the jurisdiction of the Pali police station, to Kusuma village, which is in the Majhila district.

They were on their way back from the wedding when the disaster happened. At a steep corner, the allegedly overloaded automobile lost control and crashed.

Five people died instantly as a consequence of the collision, according to Circle Officer Anuj Mishra. Six others were originally sent to a hospital in Shahabad after suffering severe injuries. When the doctors arrived, they pronounced five people dead and sent the wounded to a higher medical facility for more extensive care.

When they heard the calls for assistance, witnesses and locals hurried to the site. In order to free the people trapped inside, bystanders shattered the car’s windows and promptly called the police. Soon after, ambulances and other emergency personnel arrived and started rescue efforts.

Legal proceedings are in progress, and the dead have been submitted for a postmortem examination.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath acknowledged the situation and conveyed his profound sadness over the deaths. In addition to offering his sympathies to the relatives of the deceased, he instructed the district administration to make sure the wounded received the finest treatment available.

The Chief Minister also wished the accident victims a quick recovery.

The reason of the accident is being investigated by authorities. According to preliminary results, the loss of control may have been caused in part by speeding and maybe overloading.
