Famous Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed has revealed that his upcoming romantic comedy film “Love Guru” is the most expensive project he has ever invested in.

During recent promotions, Humayun disclosed that the film’s production cost has exceeded 25 crore Pakistani rupees.

He expressed confidence that the movie will earn double what he anticipates.

In an interview with Mahira Khan on the show “Something Haute,” Humayun also talked about the film industry and his future plans for filmmaking.

He mentioned that the Government of Pakistan has introduced support programs to help filmmakers, especially smaller producers, with financial aid and other assistance.

Humayun clarified that he has not yet received any government support but hopes to benefit from these programs for his next projects.

After a two-year gap, he is now committed to producing at least one film every year. If he makes two films in a year, he plans to cast another lead actor in one film while playing the hero himself in the other. If making only one film, he will be the lead actor.

Regarding the budget and expected earnings of Love Guru, Humayun said most of the shooting took place in the United Kingdom, which increased the costs. Despite this, he is optimistic the film will earn twice as much as expected.

He added that all his previous films have outperformed expectations, and he expects the same for Love Guru.

Despite Pakistan having limited cinemas, his film “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2” earned over 70 crore rupees, and he believes Love Guru will exceed that.

Humayun also praised the massive success of “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” which reportedly earned around 250 crore rupees, setting new records in the local film industry.

He commended Pakistani audiences for their loyalty, noting that many watch the same films multiple times, which helps increase box office earnings for Pakistani movies.

Earlier, Pakistan’s leading superstar Humayun Saeed is all set to return to the big screen this Eid ul Adha with his new film Love Guru.

In a recent conversation, the acclaimed actor shared his experience of representing Pakistan on an international platform, particularly shedding light on his role in the globally popular Netflix series The Crown.

Humayun Saeed expressed that whenever he represents Pakistan, he gives his 100 percent with full sincerity and dedication. “When an artist represents Pakistan, it’s not just about playing a character—it’s about upholding the respect and dignity of the entire nation,” he said.

Talking about The Crown, he said, “It was an honor to work on such a prestigious project. I approached it with complete dedication and professionalism.” He emphasized that he always strives to represent Pakistan with utmost honesty and hard work.

He added that the team of The Crown was very supportive and treated him as an international actor who primarily works in Urdu. “I gave it my all, remained punctual, and fully immersed myself in the role,” Humayun stated.
