Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri wins Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad: Know her journey

New Delhi: Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri has been crowned Miss World 2025 at the 72nd edition of the most significant beauty pageant, on May 31, 2025, at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, India. Chuangsri emerged victorious among 108 contestants from around the globe, marking Thailand’s first-ever win in the Miss World competition.

Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje secured the prestigious position of first runner-up at the Miss World 2025 grand finale, showcasing remarkable poise, intelligence, and elegance throughout the competition. Following closely, Poland’s Maja Klajda impressed the judges and audience alike, earning the coveted second runner-up title.

Meanwhile, representing the Caribbean island of Martinique, Aurélie Joachim stood out with her charm and compelling presence, proudly securing a spot among the top four finalists.

Thailand’s Opal Sucha Wins Miss World 2025 Title

Opal Suchata, the recently crowned Miss World 2025, hails from the picturesque and one of the most beautiful cities of Thailand, Phuket. She is currently pursuing her studies in International Relations, and is also a successful model working with the most prestigious clients worldwide. Beyond her achievements in academics and fashion, Opal is deeply committed to social causes, particularly breast cancer awareness.

Her passion stems from a personal experience at the age of 16, when she found a lump in her breast. Though it was cured later, but left an impact on her mind to bring a change in society with early awareness and checkups. Through her platform, she has become a strong voice for breast cancer education and prevention.

Opal previously represented Thailand at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant held in Mexico City, where she secured the position of third runner-up. However, her title was later withdrawn after she accepted the Miss World Thailand 2025 crown before completing her full 12-month term as Miss Universe Thailand, which led to a breach of protocol.

The grand finale was a glittering affair, co-hosted by Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle and Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar. The evening featured captivating performances by Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khatter.

As Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri is set to embark on a global journey, promoting charitable initiatives and serving as an ambassador for the Miss World Organization. Her victory not only brings pride to Thailand but also inspires young women worldwide to pursue their dreams with passion and purpose.
