PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (26) has cast fresh doubts on his future in the French capital in the aftermath of Parisians‘ dominant performance in the Champions League final. The Ligue 1 champions tore Inter Milan apart and recorded the biggest ever Champions League final win (5-0). The Italian had little to do in Munich as Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram were kept mostly at bay. Nevertheless, Donnarumma has been an instrumental part in PSG’s Champions League glory following his heroics in the previous stages of the competition.

Asked by Sky Sport regarding a contract renewal, given his current deal expires in 2026, Donnarumma has said that he didn’t know whether or not he would stay with Parisians. ‘We’ll see in the next few days”, the Italy international said, before adding he would link up with Luciano Spalletti’s Italy national team for two 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Norway and Moldova next week. Donnarumma and his agent have previously both voiced their intention to continue with PSG, but talks over a contract renewal are yet to find a breakthrough, it seems.
