Modus operandi

Questioning from Aditya revealed that he lost Rs 70,000, which he had collected from the market in online betting and games. Aditya and his colleague Deepansh Yogi then took help of notorious criminal Pradeep Yadav who introduced them to Asif Ali and Aman. The duo agreed to loot the bag from Aditya after injuring him in return of Rs 3,500. As per the plan, they followed Aditya and injured him with a small blade before fleeing with his mobile and bag. Aditya got the loot committed deliberately in presence of his colleague so as to convince his superiors at the company.

Aditya told police that he had told Asif and Aman that he would not register an FIR of loot and instead will only give a complaint to police. However, Aditya’s plan failed as police registered an FIR and launched a hunt for miscreants who committed the loot ahead of PM’s visit in the city.
