The victim received a call from a woman, who described himself as a bank officer and said, “The reward points deposited on your credit card can be redeemed and discount can be found.” The person got ready after coming to the woman’s words. He told that one of his colleagues would call to complete the process.
After some time, a man called and sent a link to redeem the reward points and said that fill the necessary information in it. The person clicked on the link and filled all the information sought, and in a few moments his account was deducted from his account.
As soon as the amount was deducted, the victim tried to call both, but the numbers were switched off. Then he realized that he had fallen victim to a cyber fraud.
