PSG claimed their first-ever Champions League title with a dominant 5-0 win over Inter Milan in the final at Munich’s Allianz Arena on Sunday. Following the match, Enrique brought his wife Elena and children Pacho and Sira onto the field to celebrate.
The 55-year-old coach wore a black T-shirt featuring a drawing of himself and Xana holding a PSG flag, a heartfelt tribute to his daughter, who passed away from bone cancer in 2019 at the age of nine.
Back in 2015, Enrique celebrated a Champions League title with Barcelona by bringing Xana onto the field, where she held a Barcelona flag as he planted it on the pitch for a photo.
Before the Sunday match, the coach expressed his wish to win the Champions League with PSG and would dedicate it to his daughter.
“I remember an incredible photo I have with my daughter, after winning the Champions League, placing a Barca flag on the pitch. I wish I could do the same with PSG. She won’t be there physically, but she’ll be there spiritually and that’s very important to me,” Enrique said, as quoted by The Sun.

After the match, he said: “Xana is not physically here, but she is always connected to me and she is enjoying this time with us.”
At the Allianz Arena, fans paid tribute by recreating that iconic image with a tifo, this time with PSG colors, symbolizing Xana’s continued presence alongside her father. Many were deeply moved by the moment.
“My heart is so full of joy for this man and his little angel,” one fan commented online.
“He’s made sure Xana is with him in victory again,” another wrote.
Enrique, 55, ended the 2024–2025 season in the most triumphant fashion, guiding PSG to a historic treble: the Champions League, Ligue 1, and French Cup titles. It marks the second treble of his coaching career, having achieved the same feat with Barcelona in the 2014–2015 season. This achievement has put him among the greatest football coaches.
