Hellas Verona are expected to confirm coach Paolo Zanetti for 2025-26, with a meeting between the two parties likely to take place on Thursday.
Read understands that Verona directors are expected to meet with their coach, Zanetti, on Thursday to discuss the club’s future plans.
The coach’s contract has already been automatically extended to 2026 after the Gialloblu secured Serie A survival in the 2024-25 season.
Verona finished 14th in the Serie A table last season with 37 points, six above 18th-placed Empoli.
Sources tell Read that Zanetti and Verona will discuss plans for the future in their upcoming meeting and are expected to continue together in the 2025-26 season.
Verona appointed Zanetti last summer after seeing their previous boss, Marco Baroni, join Lazio.
