Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has shared his personal association with the team by supporting Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2025 final. In an event during his visit to India, he told that his relationship with RCB is family. I have been married in a family in Bengaluru, so RCB became my team.
Sunak remembered that he had received RCB jersey from his in -laws as a wedding gift and since then he became a fan of the team. We used to go to the stadium and watch the match and even when I was the Prime Minister, I used to cheer for the team in Downing Street.
Before the IPL final, Sunak appreciated the players of the team, especially Virat Kohli. He proudly showed Kohli’s signature bat, which he was given by India Foreign Minister S.K. Was met as a meeting with Jaishankar. Sunak said that he is a legend.
