Similar to updates on Telegram and Signal, this feature is geared towards improving privacy.Based on information from WABetaInfo, a new iOS beta version shows other elements of the interface. While still uncovered to testers, signs suggest a new version is being released actively.Why the New Feature is ImportantAdditionally, WhatsApp does not require usernames for creating accounts, suggesting users are concerned with safety and security of their details.
