One such news is again going viral on social media, in which it is being claimed that the government is preparing to discontinue the 500 rupee note by March 2026. Now when such big news went viral, the government itself had to come forward and tell the truth.

In fact, a YouTube channel named Capital TV ran this news quoting sources that by March 2026 next year, the 500 rupee note will be completely out of circulation and the government has also stopped printing new 500 rupee notes.
