A violent motorbike crash in southern Vietnam left one Indian university student dead and another seriously injured early on Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 6 a.m. near Bung Xang Lake in Can Tho City’s Ninh Kieu District.
Two men, both Indian nationals and students at a local university, were riding a high-powered motorcycle when it lost control on a curve, mounted the sidewalk, and slammed into the fence of a residential home in An Khanh Ward.

The impact broke down a section of the wall, which was nearly two meters high and over four meters long.
The rider was thrown nearly five meters and died at the scene, while the passenger was flung into the property and suffered severe injuries.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

The motorbike was completely destroyed in the collision.
Witnesses said the road was slick from overnight rain, and the vehicle appeared to be traveling at high speed.
Local authorities have launched an investigation into the crash.
