Sudipto Sen, director of the famous films “The Kerala Story” and “Bastar: The Naxal Story”, has announced his new film based on Bastar. The film will be made in Bastar by keeping the elimination of Naxalism at the center.

In fact, Sudipto Sen had reached Jagdalpur to attend the “Dialogue from Beijing to Bastar” organized by Bastar Peace Committee. During this, he said that Bastar, who has been struggling with Naxalism for nearly 40 years, is now moving towards peace. This change will be the origin of the story of his next film.

Sudipto Sen further said that Bastar is now on the verge of being Naxal -free. It is necessary to bring stories of the people, bravery of soldiers and the efforts of the government to the world. So I will definitely make a film with Bastar.

Sudipto Sen, while discussing with the media, said that he made Bastar: The Naxal Story and will continue to make such films even further. He said that the fight on Naxalism is now towards the climax. The change in Bastar began not from today, but from 2012-13. Sen told that it is said that the path of Bastar is made of the blood of the martyrs, not asphalt.

Director Sudipto Sen has not yet given any information about the shooting and release dates of the film, but it is certain that Bastar will once again make his special identity on the global stage through cinema.
