has delivered a fiery response to his critics amid suggestions his time is up at Manchester City, with reports indicating he won't be part of the squad travelling to the Club World Cup this summer. Despite being City's record signing at £100million, Grealish appears to be on the fringes at the Etihad Stadium, potentially edging him towards an exit as Pep Guardiola plans to leave him behind while taking other key players to FIFA's expanded summer tournament.

His struggle for minutes has sparked rumours of a departure, and being overlooked for the Club World Cup might just seal his fate. Ex-Aston Villa ace Gabby Agbonlahor has lambasted Guardiola's handling of Grealish, with talkSPORT revealing his discontent in a recent post. A fan replied suggesting that Guardiola's decision was justified by Grealish's performances, prompting a cheeky comeback from the player himself.

Grealish wrote on Instagram: "Haha I've been bad lately? Scored three goals in my last three appearances over 45 mins but okie dokie love x." He quipped further to another critic: "What u want me to do, score a hatty in 20?"

With clubs across England and Europe likely keeping tabs, Grealish seems open to a move that would guarantee regular playing time and help him reclaim his position in the England squad, especially after missing out on recent selections and last year's Euros.

Man City have been quick off the mark in the transfer window, securing a £46.3m deal for AC Milan's Dutch sensation Tijjani Reijnders and are currently negotiating to bring Lyon's maestro Rayan Cherki on board, moves that could sideline Jack Grealish even further.

Grealish, who became City's priciest signing ever when he joined in 2021, was instrumental in the club's Treble triumph in 2023. Despite bagging three Premier League crowns with City, his role has seen a gradual decrease.

Pep Guardiola recently expressed his views, stating: "Of course, Jack has to play. He's an unbelievable player that has to play football every three days. It didn't happen this season and last season either.

"He needs to do it - with us or another place. It's a question for Jack, his agent, and the club. If he stays it will be fine and he fought like he fought from day one to make a contribution."
