Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Two transfer lists of IPS officers have been issued in four days. Now, the IAS officers are waiting for their transfer list.
According to sources, top-rung IAS officers, including principal secretaries, secretaries and collectors, may be transferred. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Chief Secretary Anurag Jain have twice discussed the transfer of IAS officers.
The state government has extended the lifting of a ban on transfers of officials of various departments till June 10. As the date for transfers has been extended till June 10, the shifting of collectors may take place afterwards, sources said.
The in-charge ministers are preparing transfer lists of employees within the districts. The in-charge ministers and collectors have discussed the issue of transfer within the district.
Against this backdrop, the list of transfers of IAS officers may be issued after the shifting of officials in districts.
The collectors of Dhar, Rewa, Morena, Singrauli, Betul and Alirajpur may be shifted. The government has yet to post a collector in Datia after the retirement of its collector.
Among the senior officers, additional chief secretary (ACS) Neeraj Mandloi has been looking after PWD for a long time. An officer has to be posted there. According to sources, chief electoral officer Sukhveer Singh may be handed over the charge of PWD.
The posting of ACS Sanjay Dubey and principal secretaries Navneet Kothari, E Ramesh, Vivek Porwal, Amit Rathore, DP Ahuja and Shobhit Jain may be changed. Commissioner of the Higher Education Department Nishant Barbade may be shifted.
Besides these officers, there are speculations about the transfer of some other bureaucrats.
