Plot

What begins as a much-needed family escape quickly descends into a nightmare in Get Awaya chilling tale where paradise hides something far more sinister. Hoping to reconnect and unwind, the Harper family — parents Mark and Elena, along with their teenage daughter Lily and young son Theo — travel to a secluded island known for its tranquil beaches, untouched nature, and complete disconnection from the outside world.

Their destination is a luxury rental cabin nestled deep within the island’s dense woods, a place with no internet, no nearby neighbors, and only the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs to keep them company. At first, everything seems perfect: the air is fresh, the views are stunning, and the lack of distractions feels like a blessing.

But as the sun sets on their first night, unease creeps in. The forest feels too quiet. Objects begin to shift out of place. A second set of footprints appears by the porch.
