Yuzvendra Chahal played with ‘broken ribs’ in IPL 2025, says rumoured gf RJ Mahvash

New Delhi: The Punjab Kings Yuzvendra Chahal put in a top performance and played well in IPL 2025. He got 16 wickets over his 13 innings getting two four-wicket hauls. He was an important part of what made the team achieve its objectives.
Yuzvendra Chahal missed several games towards the end of Punjab Kings (PBKS) IPL 2025 season due to a finger injury. Despite this he played in Qualifier 2 against Mumbai Indians on June 1st following a match against Rajasthan Royals on May 18th and also participated in the final.
Yuzvendra Chahals close friend RJ Mahvash revealed that the cricketer suffered rib and bowling finger fractures during a recent tournament; the rib injury occurred in the second match while the finger injury happened later.
They fought stayed and played till the last match! And special post to @yuzi_chahal23 because what people dont know is that his ribs got fractured in the second match only and his bowling finger got fractured later this guy played the entire season with 3 fractures! RJ Mahvash posted on Instagram.

Yuzvendra Chahals economical bowling (1/37) restricted the batting team while Arshdeep Singh and Kyle Jamieson each claimed three wickets (3/40 and 3/48 respectively).
RCBs strong finish fueled by Jitesh Sharmas quick 24 Liam Livingstones 25 and Rajat Patidars 26 enabled them to reach 190/9 in their 20 overs. Virat Kohlis 43 provided some stability to the innings.
Priyansh Aryas quick 24 runs (from 19 balls including four boundaries) and Prabhsimrans 26 (from 22 balls with two sixes) propelled Punjab Kings to a strong start in their run chase culminating in a 43-run partnership.
Shreyas Iyers unbeaten match-winning performance against Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 propelled Punjab Kings to the final. However he underperformed in the championship match.
Krunal Pandya Yash Dayal and Bhuvneshwar Kumars bowling performances (2/17 1/18 and 2/38 respectively) restricted Punjab Kings to 184/7 despite Shashank Singhs impressive 22 runs in the final over.
Josh Inglis and Shashank Singh powered a strong batting performance scoring 39 runs off 23 balls (Inglis) and 61 not out off 30 balls (Singh) with both players hitting multiple boundaries and sixes.
Krunal Pandyas excellent bowling performance secured him the Player of the Match award.
