For this, you go to the Income Tax Department's e-Filing website https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/. There you will find the option of 'Verify PAN Status' in 'Quick Links', click on it.
Here you have to enter your full name, DOB, mobile number registered in your PAN. After this you will get an OTP. You have to enter it and the status will come in front of you whether your PAN is active or not.
If your PAN card is showing inactive. So you check whether your PAN card is linked to your Aadhaar or not. If your PAN card is not linked to your Aadhaar. Then link it to Aadhaar. Because even if it is not linked to Aadhaar, the PAN card becomes inactive.
