Delhi: Those planning to travel on Sunday should be aware of potential disruptions near IP Marg, Vikas Marg, and Ring Road. The Delhi Traffic Police has released a notice indicating that traffic restrictions and diversions will be enforced on June 8 due to the "Sagar Wali Qawali Bharat Tour" taking place at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. These measures will be in effect from 12:00 PM until midnight. Key routes affected include IP Marg (MGM Road), Vikas Marg, and Ring Road (from Rajghat to IP Depot).

The Delhi Traffic Police communicated these restrictions via a post on X, urging commuters to adjust their travel plans accordingly. The post stated, "In light of the 'Sagar Wali Qawali Bharat Tour' at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium (Main Arena KDJW), traffic restrictions and diversions will be implemented on 08.06.2025 (Sunday) from 12:00 PM to Midnight. Significant stretches such as IP Marg (MGM Road), Vikas Marg, and Ring Road (Rajghat to IP Depot) may experience disruptions."

As per the Delhi Traffic Police, necessary diversions and restrictions will be enforced around the stadium from 12:00 PM to midnight.

Heavy vehicles and buses will face restrictions on the following routes:

Vikas Marg

Ring Road – from Rajghat to IP Depot

Ring Road (Rajghat to IP Depot)

The Delhi Traffic Police has provided information regarding parking. Limited parking is available near the stadium for vehicles displaying valid parking labels. It is essential to show the parking label on the windscreen, with the vehicle number written on it. Additionally, access to parking lots is only allowed via MGM Road (Ring Road).

Importantly, no vehicles will be permitted to park on Ring Road from Rajghat to I.P. Flyover (both directions).
