New Delhi: Actor Shoaib Ibrahim has recently put a picture on Instagram story with wife Dipika Kakkar after her 14-hour-long cancer surgery. The actress was recently diagnosed with liver cancer some time back and announced it on her Instagram.
Dipika had a tennis ball-sized tumor in her liver, and the cancer was in the second stage, for which the diagnosis was being done; she was admitted to the hospital some days back. From then on, Shoaib had continuously updated their fans about the actress’s health.
The actor posted the picture 19 hours ago, where both of them were holding envelopes, while Dipika was lying on the bed, Ibrahim sat near her, with the picture he wrote, ”Dipi aur mere liye papa ki taraf se eidi aayee (Eidi for me and Dipika from dad) (red heart emoji). Eid Mubarak (hug emoji).”
Shoaib had earlier also informed in his vlogs about Dipika’s surgery, how it went, the time duration, and other important updates about the actress’s health. He also told the fans that Dipika has to stay in the hospital for three to four days post-surgery. He said ”She will stay here for three to five days, as advised by doctors. The surgery was major…She was in OT for 14 hours. Woh bahut hi mushkil waqt tha (It was a difficult time).”
Shoaib also shared how the surgery took place in one of his daily vlogs, he wrote, “Her tumour was taken out nicely. The gall bladder was also taken out after surgery because of a stone. Because the liver had a tumour, some portion, a small percentage of it, was also cut. There is nothing to stress about it since the liver is an organ that regenerates itself.”
So now that Dipika’s surgery has been successful, we wish that she recovers as soon as possible. Fans are also waiting eagerly to see her back living a normal and healthy life.
