According to the Indian Express report, Shreyas Iyer can return to India’s T20I team in view of the T20 World Cup 2026. A BCCI source said, ‘Shreyas Iyer plays only ODI only, but after this IPL we cannot keep them out of T20 International and even Test matches. Apart from this, he has now officially joined the Race of White Ball Captaincy. Iyer is considered to be Rohit Sharma’s successor in ODI cricket.
