As time passes, Gianluigi Donnarumma’s (26) future at Paris Saint-Germain becomes increasingly unclear. His contract at PSG expires at the end of next season, and whilst there are talks to extend, they are yet to lead to a positive outcome.

As exclusively reported by Tezzbuzz, there had been optimism at PSG regarding a renewal, however, it was very much a renewal on the club’s terms, with a set of criteria set for Donnarumma to accept, or not. The ball has been in the player’s camp, but without any signs of an impending agreement, that optimism is dissipating somewhat.

The team understands that PSG’s proposal includes a salary decrease with lucrative clauses based on games played. That is in line with new contracts offered since the start of the Luís Campos regime at the European champions.

However, for Donnarumma, the situation seems precarious. As per The team, the goalkeeper has evoked the possibility of a move to England with his teammates while on international duty with Italy. Both Manchester United and Manchester City have expressed an interest in signing the goalkeeper, a major element of PSG’s UEFA Champions League triumph.
