Priya saroj rinku singh: Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party’s newly elected MP Priya Saroj got engaged in a private ceremony on Sunday. This special occasion was held at Hotel Sentrum in Lucknow, in which the relationship was decided with the consent and blessings of both families.
Before the engagement, both of them went to the Vichitra Devi temple of Chaudra located in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh and took blessings. Many well-known personalities of politics and cricket were present in this very private ceremony. Some pictures of this occasion are now becoming viral on social media.
The engagement ceremony was held on Sunday afternoon at the prestigious Hotel Sentrum in Lucknow. Members of both families and about 300 special guests were present during this period. The rituals of engagement were performed by Vedic method, which was performed by Pandit Umesh Trivedi. He informed that rituals of bar education and baby shower were also performed in the program.
Many big names like Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, MP Jaya Bachchan, Ram Gopal Yadav, BCCI Vice President and Congress MP Rajiv Shukla were present on the occasion. Everyone greeted the newly married couple and adorned the ceremony.
Priya Saroj’s father and Samajwadi Party MLA Stormi Saroj said, "Today is the engagement ceremony and we all have gathered here for the same. We are very happy that Priya is getting engaged today." He further told, "Rinku and Priya have known each other for some time. He was identified through the father of a friend of Priya, who is also a cricketer himself. With the blessings of both the families, they have now decided to marry."
Bhagwati Saroj, uncle of Samajwadi Party leader Priya Saroj, said, "Today is a day of pride and happiness for us. This marriage is going on with the consent of both families. It is a matter of great pride for our community that for the first time we are getting an international marriage."
