She explained that the procedure, which involved more than 100 needles inserted into her body, helps maintain youthful skin, control body weight, improve blood circulation, relieve back pain, whiten the skin, tighten pores, and lift the face.

While the actress emphasized that the treatment targets key acupuncture points to nourish the body, she acknowledged its extreme pain, saying most people would likely find it difficult to endure.

“The most painful areas are my back and legs,” she stated. “A friend of mine cried out loud during the treatment. I’m good with pain, so I managed to continue for a week.”

Despite the pain, Chen reported feeling the benefits of the treatment.
