According to eyewitnesses, Anurag was very emotional and was crying bitterly during the funeral. But as soon as the pyre started burning, he suddenly tried to throw himself into the fire. The people present somehow pulled him out, but during this time he also beat him. In a hurry, the injured Anurag has been admitted to a private hospital, where his condition is said to be stable.

The police have also received a suicide note from the spot, which Ankita wrote before the suicide. In that letter, he has clearly stated that Anurag should not be held responsible for his death. This note has now become an important part of the investigation.

At the same time, the police suspect that Anurag may have consumed some poisonous substance before jumping on the pyre. His blood sample has been taken and the medical report is waiting. Only after the report will it be clear whether he had attempted any other suicide other than self -immolation or not.
