At the age of just 30, Ghanshyam Das Birla, who established his industrial empire in the country, went to Bengal in 1919 and stepped into the jute industry. He was known for his truth and honest. He is considered not only a very close friend of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Home Minister of the country, but also the first Home Minister of the country. Also, Ghanshyam Das along with several other businessmen of the country also established the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the year 1927.
