When two powerhouses come together fans expect a superhit in the pipeline. This is exactly what audiences are expecting with Dhanush and Rashmika Mandannas film Kuberaa. All set to release on June 20 2025 Kuberaa also features Nagarjuna Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil in key roles. However while the movie is highly anticipated in an interview Dhanush and Rashmika revealed that they had to spend hours in the heaps of garbage. In the movie Dhanush has played the role of a beggar and to bring authenticity to the role the actor had to shoot in the dump yard. During a promotional event Dhanush said “We shot for 6–7 hours in the dump yard and Rashmika was absolutely fine and I was saying What is this?” On the other hand Rashmika said The most memorable experience for me as an actor was shooting for 6 hours in the dump yard (garbage dump). It connects us back to our roots and was also an eye-opener. Shekhar Sir likes to shoot at real locations. He takes shots while running with the camera. We could not even see the monitor but his masterpiece will be worth watching. She added Usually in heartbreak songs we see the pain of a boy but this song is from the perspective of a girl. It is definitely sad but it has been presented in a fun way. Rashmika also heaped praises on co-actor Nagarjuna and said that this is her second project with him. Describing a special moment with Nagarjuna Rashmika said He saw the film and praised my character – it was a very special moment for me. Coming back to Kuberaa the film is directed by Sekhar Kammula and produced by Sekhar Kammula Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao. The movie is a social thriller and is creating a huge hype among audiences.
