In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood the dazzling lives of celebrities often take the center stage. However what happens when the curtain falls is a lot more than what meets the eye. Behind the picture-perfect life there is often turbulence in relationships complex dynamics and it is not just limited to the personal life of celebrities but it is also the case within the fraternity.
One such similar tale is of a celebrated filmmaker and celebrity whose changing dynamics have been taking over the internet and are currently making a buzz. The people in the light are none other than Director Karan Johar and actor Kartik Aryan.
The duo reportedly had a turbulent relationship in the past; however with their upcoming projects their fallout is now over and both are geared up to work together on their new romantic comedy called “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri”. The film features Kartik Aryan and Ananya Panday in the lead.
As per the reports they both had a fallout in 2021 when Kartik abruptly had to quit the Dharma film Dostan 2. The film was originally announced in 2019 with Kartik Aryan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. However after the pandemic the film got delayed and later Dharma issued a statement mentioning that the film will undergo a recast with disputes between Karan Johar and Kartik Aryan doing rounds.
In a turn of events in 2025 Karan Johar addressed these sparking speculation and spoke openly about this issue. “We resolved the issues through mutual conversation and decided to move forward” he shared. Appreciating Kartik’s dedication and current popularity he added “Kartik is a hardworking artist and today the audience likes him very much.”
Karan also touched an emotional point of being a part of the film industry for so long. “The film industry is like a family to me. Just like in every family there are misunderstandings here too. But what really matters is good stories and our commitment to cinema” he said.
With their new project coming up fans are elated and excited to see them join hands. As per the reports their film “Tu Meri Main Tera will hit in cinema on 16 February 2026. People are excited to witness their promising reunion.
