Regarding this advice, BEE estimates that if only 50 percent AC users in India also consider advice, then 10 billion units of electricity can be saved in the country every year. This will reduce the annual savings of Rs 5,000 crore and a decrease in 8.2 million tonnes of coars which will be a big relief for the environment.

If technically looked at, AC users can set it to a slightly higher temperature such as 26 ° C, then that temperature is obtained quickly and the AC compressor is closed. This reduces power consumption.
