JoSAA Counselling 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) released the second mock seat allotment list under JoSAA Counselling 2025 on June 11. Candidates who have registered for counseling based on JEE Main/Advanced can now visit the website josaa.nic.in and check the list with the help of their login credentials.

This mock list helps students understand which seat they may be allotted based on their options and preferences. Earlier, the first mock seat list was released based on the options filled till June 8. Now candidates are being given this opportunity to modify their options before final locking.

Why is JoSAA Counselling Important?

Admission to the premier technical institutes of the country is given through the counseling process of JoSAA. This process ensures seat allotment to the students based on their JEE Main / Advanced score and options.

The purpose of mock allotment is to make the students understand which institute and branch they can get a seat in as per the choices filled by them so that they can fill the final options thoughtfully.

What is the further process?

JoSAA counseling will be conducted in a total of 6 rounds. After the mock allotment, students can change their options and prepare for final locking. The process of final seat allotment will also start soon.

How to view JoSAA Mock Allotment 2025?

First of all, go to the official website of JoSAA josaa.nic.in

On the homepage, click on the link “View Mock Seat Allocation-2 based on the choices filled in by candidates as of June 10, 2025”. Now a new page will open.

Enter your JEE Main 2025 application number, password and security pin.

Then click on Login.

Your JoSAA Mock Allotment 2025 will appear on the screen.
