The film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat Pathak and directed by Chhorii fame Vishal Furia. The film further expands the Shaitaan universe and will be showing Kajol in a different and unique avatar. Revealing some behind-the-scenes truths when Kajol was asked if she had ever turned down any major role Kajol replied with her usual wit: “It doesn’t even take a blink for me. I don’t bother much before saying no to anything I don’t like.” She also mentioned one major project that she turned: 3 idiots. This Rajkumar Hirani film was a major blockbuster with a collection of over Rs. 300 crores. It featured Aamir Khan R. Madhavan Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor Khan. But Kareena Kapoor wasnt the initial choice of filmmaker Hirani first chose Kajol for this part. Speaking about her perception she said “I feel those films were meant to be theirs. Jaise bolte hain na jiska likha hota hai usi ko milta hai. I think I’ve done very well for myself without them.” Kajols journey reveals that one will only get what their fate is destined to.
