A century from Mitch Wagstaff carried Derbyshire to victory over Notts in their Second XI clash at Lady Bay.
Wagstaff’s 119 was the key contribution for the visitors as they sealed a six-wicket success, with his innings eventually ended by Nic Keast, who secured second-inning figures of 3/49. Sammy King picked up the other Derbyshire wicket to fall.
Earlier, Ben Martindale top-scored in Notts’ second innings with 52 – having hit 97 and taken three wickets earlier in the fixture – while there were contributions from Matt Montgomery (46), Akand Gangotra (38) and Freddie McCann (34) as the hosts made 232 in their second innings.
