Ireland (IRE) and the West Indies (WI) are set to take on each other in the first T20I of the ongoing white-ball series at the Bready Cricket Club in Bready on Thursday, June 12.
Both sides recently faced off in an ODI series, where the home side won the first ODI, while managed to register a victory in the third game, after the second fixture ended without a result, and the series was levelled at 1-1. Notably, this will be the first time since 2022 are up against each other in a T20I series. Both teams will be looking to end the tour with a series win and hope rain doesn't play spoilsport as it did in the ODI leg.

The track at Bready Cricket Club Ground is set to help the fast bowlers early on with the new ball. Apart from some pacers, the seamers could get some movement off the deck, especially in the first half of the innings. The average score here in T20Is is around 125-130, with the teams batting second winning 55 percent of the games. With rain predicted during the match time, bowling first can be a viable option.

Probable Best performers Probable best batter: Keacy CartyWest Indies batter Keacy Carty has been in fine form in recent times and will look to continue that in the T20I leg against the hosts. In the ODI leg, the right-handed batter ended as the highest run-getter in the three-match fixture with 278 runs at an average of 92.66. Carty will be hopeful to play with the same attacking intent in the coming game.
Probable best bowler - Barry McCarthyIrish pacer is set to be a massive threat for the Caribbean batters. With the conditions expected to help the seamers, McCarthy will look to make the most of it, and it will be interesting to see how the skipper uses his four overs. In the T20Is against the Windies, the 32-year-old bagged nine wickets in three innings.
