People who like the South Indian dish Uttapam can be found in every corner of the country. Uttapam is a healthy food. It is prepared from many things. Today we will tell you about Uttapam prepared from ragi flour. It is healthy as well as tasty. You can start your day by eating this for breakfast. Nowadays, amid the increasing threat of diseases, everyone wants to keep themselves fit and healthy, so its consumption is beneficial in such a situation. Eating this can help control blood sugar. Ingredients

Ragi – 1/2 cup
Rice – 1/3 cup
Urad dal – 1/4 cup
Tomato – 1
Green chilli – 3-4
Onion – 1
Fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves – 2-3 tbsp
Oil – 2-3 tbsp
Salt – as per taste

Recipe

- First of all clean the ragi, rice, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds. After this, soak them separately in water for 5-6 hours.

- After the stipulated time, first of all, take urad dal and grind it smoothly with the help of a mixer jar. After grinding the dal, put its paste in a deep bottom vessel.

- After this, put ragi and rice in the mixer jar. Add some water on top and grind them finely.

- When the ragi-rice is well ground, add the paste prepared from them to the urad dal paste and mix it well.

- After this, cover the vessel and keep it in a warm place for 10-12 minutes so that it can be fermented well.

- When the batter is well fermented, add salt according to taste and mix it well with the help of a big spoon or hand.

- Now finely chop tomatoes, onions, green chilies, and green coriander leaves. After this, keep a non-stick pan on the gas to heat.

- When the pan is hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around. Then take the prepared batter in a bowl put it in the middle of the pan and spread it around.

- Put some chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, and green coriander on it press it lightly, and fry it on medium flame.

- While baking the Uttapam, cover it and bake it from one side for 3-4 minutes. After this, remove the lid and flip the Uttapam and bake it from the other side for 1-2 minutes.

- After this, take out the Ragi Uttapam on a plate. Ragi Uttapam is ready. Make Ragi Uttapam in the same way with all the batter. Serve it with chutney.
