According to a report from Fabrice Hawkins of RMC SportOumar Camara (18) is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Vitória de Guimarães.
The striker had looked to be on course to join Rangers last month, but due to a change in ownership, the move was scuppered. The Frenchman had reportedly been convinced by the project in Scotland and turned down a contract offer from PSG, but following the takeover, he was no longer part of Rangers’ plans. Hawkins writes that the arrival of a new sporting director in Kevin Thelwell, shook up the deal.
Still, Camara was not expected to remain in Paris, and Vitória quickly snapped up a player who had captained PSG’s U19 side. He has already completed his medical for the Portuguese side and is thought to have signed a four-year contract.
For Vitória, they will be looking to build on a campaign that saw them finish sixth in Liga Portugal.
