Subramanian Swamy said- PM Modi, Home Minister and Minister of Civil Aviation should resign so that free-examination can be investigated

Subramanian swamy’s reaction on ahmedabad plane crash: A major aircraft accident took place this afternoon in Meghaninagar, Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat. Here Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel crashed soon after Air India passenger aircraft from International Airport. The plane had a total of 242 people, including 12 crew members (including two pilots) and 230 passengers. While many leaders have expressed grief over this accident, politics has started on the other side.

In fact, BJP leader and former Law and Justice Minister Subramanian Swamy has sought resignation from PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu on moral basis after the incident. Subramaniam Swamy wrote on the social media platform X, ‘Lal Bahadur Shastri resigned when the railway derailed in the 1950s. On the basis of the same morality, I demand resignation from Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Civil Aviation Minister Naidu so that there can be independent and fair investigation. Whatever Modi and his companions are doing so far, it is just a show, which has to be stopped.

Apart from Subramanian Swamy, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has also targeted the government over the incident. Akhilesh wrote in the X post, ‘Immediate clarification of the accident of Ahmedabad plane crash came so that the apprehensions could be eradicated. Prayers for passengers and crew members. The highest level rescue, relief and treatment should be provided.

Air India has confirmed that flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick crashed after flying today. The flight, which left Ahmedabad at 1338 am, had 242 passengers and crew members in the Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Of these, 169 are Indian citizens, 53 British citizens, 1 Canadian citizen and 7 Portuguese citizens. The injured are being taken to nearest hospitals. Air India has also released a dedicated passenger hotline number 1800 5691 444 to give more information.
