MP Weather Update: Weather may change in Madhya Pradesh on June 13. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of strong winds, rain and lightning. However, heat and heat wave can also trouble people. During the last 24 hours, heavy rains along with strong winds were recorded in many parts of Madhya Pradesh.

West Madhya Pradesh: Effect of heat wave along with rain
There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in western Madhya Pradesh on June 13. Strong winds will blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour and there will also be a risk of lightning. However, heat wave conditions may also persist in some areas, due to which heat and humidity may trouble people. 

Eastern Madhya Pradesh: Yellow alert issued
IMD has issued a yellow alert for eastern Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of light rain, strong winds and lightning at different places here. The temperature may remain higher than normal, which will increase the feeling of humidity and heat.

Temperature: Mercury will reach 43 degrees
According to IMD, the maximum temperature can reach 43 degrees Celsius on June 13. Heat wave will prevail especially in some parts of western Madhya Pradesh. It is important to take precautions to avoid heat and humidity.

Avoid strong thunderstorms and lightning: Avoid staying in open fields and avoid standing under trees.

Home safety: Keep windows and doors closed in the evening.
