UP Weather Alert: Double attack of heat wave and storm! Weather will change on 13th June, IMD issued alert

UP Weather Update: Heat and weather disturbances are likely to continue in Uttar Pradesh on June 13 as well. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), heatwave and thunderstorms can be seen in many parts of the state. Light rain and gusty winds may occur along with thunderstorms at some places in western and eastern UP.

Talking about the last 24 hours, light rain has been recorded at some places, but there has been no major change in the temperature. The highest maximum temperature of 45.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Agra, while the minimum temperature in Meerut was 27.5 degrees Celsius.

How will the weather be today?
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heat wave in western Uttar Pradesh during the afternoon on June 13. Along with this, there is a possibility of strong storm with a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour and lightning at some places. 

At the same time, the weather can be more severe in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Here, heat wave during the day as well as strong thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds with speeds up to 40–50 km/h are expected in the evening or night.

Temperature will fall in 2 to 3 days
Meanwhile, the matter of relief is that the temperature may fall in the next 2 to 3 days. According to IMD, there will be no major change in the maximum temperature for the next 48 hours. But after that it may fall by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius.

It will rain from 13 to 18 June
According to IMD, light to moderate rain may occur in most parts of Uttar Pradesh from 13 to 18 June. Along with this, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and storm. It is being said that this is expected to provide relief from heat. But, for now, people have been advised to be cautious of heat and humidity.
