The Gazette dello Sport reports that Cristian Chivu has already spoken to Davide Frattesi, telling the Italian midfielder that he’ll have a key role in his project, while Inter are ready to listen to offers of at least €40m for Hakan Calhanoglu.
Inter have landed in the USA, where they are preparing for the 2025 Club World Cup.
According to Gazzetta, Italy midfielder Frattesi has already been informed that he’ll have a central role in Chivu’s project.
Chivu Makes New Frattesi Inter Role Clear

Frattesi has accumulated a considerable number of minutes on the pitch during his two-year spell at Inter, although he has hardly played as a starter. Consequently, his agent held talks with other Serie A clubs in January.
However, with Inter appointing Chivu as their new head coach, Frattesi is not expected to leave.
According to Gazzetta, Chivu has already informed the 25-year-old that his role will be different in 2025-26, with the Italian expected to feature in the Nerazzurri XI much more regularly.
Inter set Calhanoglu price tag

Inter have already confirmed the purchase of Croatian talent Petar Sucic in central midfield.
Lastly, Gazzetta reports that Inter have not yet received formal offers for Calhanoglu. Galatasaray have joined Saudi sides in the race for the Turkey captain, but Inter won’t listen to offers below €40m.
