While Laura shares her recipe for one person, you can simply double up the portions if you're looking to make it for two.
Apple breakfast cakeIngredients
60g oats
Two tablespoons of vanilla yoghurt
One apple
Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
One-third of a teaspoon of baking powder
Four tablespoons of boiling water
MethodStart by preheating your air fryer to 200C before getting on with slicing the apple.
Pour boiling water and oats into an ovenproof dish and stir to thicken. Add the yoghurt, cinnamon, and baking powder.
Place the ovenproof dish in the air fryer for 10 minutes. Then, once ready, it's optional to serve with additional yoghurt and icing sugar.
If you would prefer to make the apple breakfast cake in the oven, preheat the oven to 200C and let the porridge mixture bake for around 25 minutes.
Laura said the breakfast cake "can be eaten straight away or the following day, cold or warmed up".
She adds that her nutritious breakfast makes a "cosy start to the day" and has no eggs, flour or butter - perfect for those who may otherwise have a food intolerance.
Many praised Laura for her recipe, which she shared on her Instagram page, with people saying the breakfast cake tasted "amazing".
People were curious, however, if they could add protein powder to the mix; Laura replied: "I don't see why not!"
