Scientists of Uttar Pradesh also did research on Belpatra and found that it helps in treating asthma, diarrhea, balancing insulin levels, strengthening hair and increasing the quality of mother's milk. Belpatra contains vitamins A, C, B6 as well as elements like calcium, fiber and potassium. It also contains antioxidants that protect against infections.

It is rich in fiber, which keeps the stomach clean. Diabetes cannot be cured completely, but by consuming Belpatra, sugar can be controlled and relief can be obtained from problems related to it.

Precautions and method of intake

Belpatra controls the level of sugar in the blood, so it can be beneficial for diabetes patients to consume it regularly. However, it should be consumed according to the season. Especially in winters, eating more than one Belpatra can be harmful.
