Ahmedabad plane crash: Air India flight AI-71 going from Ahmedabad to London fell victim to a horrific accident on Thursday. This incident became not just a technical lapse, but the story of the breakdown of hundreds of dreams became. Out of 242 passengers aboard the aircraft, only one person could survive, while the rest died.
One of these passengers was Payal Khatik, who was going to London on her first international visit. The family of Payal, who hails from Rajasthan, had now settled in Himmatnagar, Gujarat. His father Suresh Bhai used to maintain the family by driving a rickshaw. Despite the financial constraints, she provided good education to her daughter and she reached a job in a private company.
Payal got a chance to go abroad for the first time from the company’s work. While sitting on the flight, there would be a wave of expectations and enthusiasm in his heart, but luck was something else. In the afternoon, as soon as the aircraft flew from Ahmedabad, it crashed in Meghani Nagar area. It was told that the aircraft first hit the mess building of BJ Medical College and then clashed with Atulyam Hostel. The collision was so strong that the aircraft was engulfed in flames.
As soon as the news of the accident reached Payal’s house, a mountain of sorrows broke on the whole family. The mother became insensitive and father Suresh Bhai, who had always dreamed of thinking high for her daughter, she wept bitterly with her head on the handle of a rickshaw.
Payal’s death is not just a family, but the disadvantage of all those parents who want to see their children reaching the heights of the sky. Apart from this, there may be many plans to visit London in his diary, but luck tore that page. Now his laughter is echoed on the walls of his house, but the room is deserted.
