His father is a retired technical officer and used to work in the Bihar State Handloom Corporation in Patna. Sushant was the youngest of his five siblings. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his house in Bandra Mumbai on 14 June 2020. According to preliminary information the cause of his death was said to be suicide.
