New Delhi. CM Rekha Gupta government has decided to form a committee to decide the new excise policy (liquor policy) for Delhi. The special thing is that social security will be given the most priority in Delhi’s new liquor policy. To decide the new excise policy of Delhi, the committee headed by the Chief Secretary will interact with all the parties. Apart from this, the excise policy of other states will also be seen. Before making a new liquor policy, the committee will also review all the excise policies implemented in Delhi. The Excise Department has been asked to cooperate with this high -level committee.

CM Rekha Gupta gave information about formulating a new excise policy on Friday. CM Rekha Gupta told the media that the new excise policy would be such that its impact should not be affected by the society. Also, do not harm the security, health and peace system of the weaker sections of the society. According to Rekha Gupta, the committee headed by the Chief Secretary will give its recommendation to the government. After which the new excise policy will be decided in the cabinet. CM Rekha Gupta informed that such an excise policy (liquor policy) will be made in Delhi, so that corruption cannot be done at any level. The excise policy of Delhi will be emphasized on revenue increase, prohibition of illegal liquor making.

CM Rekha Gupta of Delhi criticized the excise policy formed by the previous Aam Aadmi Party and said that through it some special companies were given benefits and the revenue of the Delhi government was damaged. He said that the excise policy of the Aam Aadmi Party government was rich in corruption, biased and against the interest of common people. CM Rekha Gupta said that the Excise Policy of the previous government was also against the law. Let us know that in the era of Aam Aadmi Party government, a new liquor policy was made for Delhi. Which was accused of corruption. As a result, all the accused including CM Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh were sent to jail by the ED. There was a CBI investigation into that liquor policy. At present, all the accused are on bail.
